AWS will allow you to use Appstream services in the selected region, when you have a Quota/Service limit for that region. In short Quota is a one time approval from AWS to use Appstream.

Many types of applications work well as streaming applications, including CAD, CAM, CAE, 3D modeling, simulation, etc. These applications benefit most from streaming because the application runs on the vast computational resources of AWS, yet your users can interact with the application using low-powered devices, with very little noticeable change in application performance.

Yes. Amazon AppStream supports most USB devices through the Appstream Windows Client

Yes, you need to configure the licensing on the servers. Please refer to Licensing - Solution Starter Kit

Users can copy and paste text from mouse / clipboard between their local device and their streaming desktop.
However, if you wish to upload / download only small files, please refer to File & Data Management

Use Amazon S3 bucket to upload data from your local machine & download it from Appstream Client or SiemensDC. Make sure to power on the NAT server is powered on

• MCAD - NX 1946, SimCenter, Solid Edge 2021, TC13.0/AW5.0, FiberSim , Star CCM+

When we started bringing in all other Siemens Products in the image and started integrating for eg: NX, Simcenter 3D, STAR CCM++, Fibersim, Amesim, Tecnomatix, Mentor (Xpedition and Capital) we figured the compatibility issue between of all of these and had to restrict ourselves to TC 13.0 with NX 1946 series and so on.
